For workplaces
Support the women in your workplace through menopause
Practical help to keep your most experienced people sharp, energised and confident. An in-person session for Geelong and Melbourne workplaces.
Menopause doesn’t stay at home
She's one of your most capable people. She runs a team, hits her deadlines and is usually the one everyone relies on. Lately she's lost her train of thought mid-meeting, she's flat by mid-afternoon, and she's been awake since 3am.
She probably hasn't told anyone. Most women don't. Many have been told it's just a phase of life and quietly push through on willpower and coffee.
(Willpower isn't the problem. What worked at 30 doesn't necessarily work at 50, and nobody has explained why.)
In 2024, a Senate committee encouraged Australian workplaces to develop menopause policies with their employees. A policy is a good start. A practical session gives your people something they can use the same week.
Energy, focus and menopause at work
A practical, down-to-earth session for women in their 40s and 50s, and for the managers and colleagues who want to understand what's going on. No jargon, no lecture, and no one is asked to share anything personal.
What we cover
What's changing, and why. Why eating less and training harder often stops working in midlife, and what to do instead.
Energy and the 3pm crash. How to keep blood sugar steady through a busy workday, from breakfast to the desk drawer.
Focus and sleep. The brain fog in meetings, the 3am wake-up, and why sleep sits underneath everything else.
Stress and movement. What a stretched-thin life does to energy and focus, and why smarter movement beats harder workouts now.
Three things to try this week. Simple and specific, because a busy team will try one change, not ten.
This session is general education, not individual advice. Medical questions, including HRT and medications, are always referred to each person's own GP.

"I finally feel like myself again." Youla P., Metabolic Balance® client
I’ve been the woman in that meeting
I'm Liv Cortez, founder of Frame Health. Before I became a nutritionist, I spent years as a marketing executive, raising my daughter and later caring for my mum. I know what it's like to hold everything together at work while running on empty. The stress caught up with me, and it taught me more than any textbook.
Now I help busy midlife women, many of them executives, find what works for their body now. My approach is grounded in science and built for real working lives: food, movement, sleep and stress, explained clearly and kept simple. (Simple, not easy. But absolutely doable.)
